This website is designed to help occupational therapists with the selection, trial, and prescription of Assistive Technology (AT) for clients with spinal cord injuries (SCI), during the assessment stage of AT provision.

The aim of this website is to inform and educate Occupational Therapists (OT) on AT and the use of relevant methods of evaluating SCI client’s need for AT, which is important in order to maximize the fit between clients’ needs, environments, and to combat the phenomenon of abandonment.
